The following is a schedule for the entire course but always subject to change:
Friday evening-
1830-1845 intros, requests etc
1845-1925 Collision avoidance/wake turbulence-density of airspace around ANC R2203 (John Weber)
1930-2030 Instructor/ck pilot forum suggested topics to include but not limited to Trend items/checklist usage/standardization/Lake Hood ops, verifying docs uploaded
2040-2130 Runway incursion-markings, radio comm at uncontrolled fields to deconflict (Glen)
Saturday morning
0910-1000 Wings and medallion programs (Doug Ankeny)
1010-1100 60-1 changes/review/AK supp/TFR’s/Notams (Derwin Hammond)
1110-1200 Mtn flying-decision making, setting limitations, evaluating wx trends, Denali (Ed Kornfield)
1210-1300 review of search patterns and techniques to use on and with the GPS (Al)
1300-Break for lunch and begin briefing for checkrides

If you are attending as a check pilot or mission check pilot, please send me an email with your desired events. Everyone is welcome to attend the classroom sessions only (whether you are a check pilot of any variety or not), but to have enough handouts/copies, please send an email with your name and intentions to airmote@beachcondomaui.com.

If there is a particular subject of interest you would like to attend (and you aren’t attending the entire course), plan to be in place at least :30 early in the event things are moving along faster than anticipated.

For everyone that wants to renew their check pilot or mission check pilot date:make sure the following are complete prior to your arrival:
60-1 test
a/c questionnaires (as appropriate-the DHC and 185 are now separate checks)
upload pilot and medical certificates into WMIRS

Web servers, located at the National Technology Center (NTC), are
moving to CAP NHQ (Maxwell AFB, AL) on Wednesday, 11 April 2012. This
will be done in two stages. First, the online testing system will be
taken down on Monday, 9 April, at 6:00 AM EDT. The tests affected
will be:
* Spaatz Testing
* Senior Specialty Track Exams
* Aerospace Education Program for Senior Members (Yeager) Exam
* Cadet Orientation Quiz (Glider)
* CAP Basic Instructor Course Exam
* CAPP 221 (A, B, & C) End of Course Exams
* CAPT 116 General Emergency Services (GES) Exam
* CAPT 117 ES Continuation Education Exam Parts 1 – 3
* FRO On-line Course Exam
* GA-8 Course Exams
* Maule Familiarization Course Exams
* NCPSC – Glider Exam
* Satellite Digital Imaging System Exam
* Skills Evaluator Training Exam
* SSF/CAP Tow Pilot Course
* Wing Runner Test

The remaining NTC web systems (WMIRS, Communications, NESA
Registration, etc.) will be taken down at 12:01 AM EDT, 11 April.
Once all the data is moved and the systems tested, they will be put
online and links in eServices to the new locations will be updated.
The new web addresses (URL) will be:

https://tests.cap.af.mil/ will become https://tests.capnhq.gov
All pages at https://ntc.cap.af.mil/ will move to
https://missions.capnhq.gov/ except the
Communications pages. The Communications pages will be at

All systems should be online by noon EDT on Wednesday, 11 April 2012.
We will work with the AFRCC and 1st Air Force to be sure they have the
current alert rosters for all wings and missions will continue during
