There is a new web cam at Iliamna.
Remember the Unit Commander Course scheduled for April 9-13. This course
is necessary to qualify to become a squadron commander.
Chaplain Gary Rhodes passed away February 5.

Supply will be collecting sized of flight suits for the upcoming federally
financed purchase.
C-206 46CC has a new windshield. Keep it clean. Per wing maintenance use
Ivory Liquid in water for washing, rub with bare hand in an up and down
motion, Rinse with plain water. We have acquired some microfiber towels and
a Plexiglas polish called Plexis to polish the windshield.

The participants of the Check Pilot Course from earlier this winter have
money to fly the practical portion of the training. Mission number is posted
on WMIRS and on a 108 form on the desk. Flights must be flown by February 28
because the money goes away.
The wireless router in the squadron is not working. Doug is attempting to
fix.
ECI 13 course is needed to advance to the rank of Captain.

Safety – per the recent Wing instruction on washing the windshield, do
not let the fuel vendor wash your windshield.
Soon we will have the grids superimposed over Google Earth images.
The mission in Kodiak is still being planned.
Marc B presented the safety spiel.
Anti lock brakes can lock on ice. His rule of thumb is go ½ of the posted
exit speed on highway interchanges when it it slick. Bottom line, SLOW DOWN.
