Meeting Notes           

September 18, 2007

• If anyone has any old Polaris Squadron patches, please see Kevin.

• The FAA ATO is having two meetings to discuss potential changes to the airspace in the Anchorage bowl.  The meetings will be held at the UAA complex at Merrill Field.  The first meeting is 0830 on Monday October 1.  The second is 1830 (6:30 PM) Wednesday October 3.  All Polaris Squadron members are urged to attend and get involved.
   

• There is a new Instructor Letter out. Contact Kevin McClure for more information.
  
  

• The Wing Banquet Registration Forms are available. Conference is scheduled for Oct 13 - 14. Potluck will be on Friday evening, 12 Oct. Banquet will be held at the International Coast Inn on Saturday evening following the conference.

• Cadets Open House next Monday at 1815 - 2000. Looking for new Cadets 
  
  

• Safety Spiel by Paul -

Anti-slip devices for shoes are great on ice and hard on floors. Also slippery on floors. High likelihood of injuries from slips and falls. Mel suggests that in extremely cod weather use spikes.
