A key to a Peterbuilt truck was found in the parking lot approximately August 27.  If you are missing your key, see Kevin.  Mel suggested the key may belong to Keith.

 

FAA has posted one of their notices about changes to Class E airspace.  If interested look on the FAA Air Traffic web site.

 

A list of members whose memberships are expiring in the next two months is available.  If you are not sure about your status, look at your old card or scan for your name on the list.  ( Expiration List )

            There were several vehicle accidents

 

There is a little more than $3,000 in cadet O ride money available.  Cadets and leaders are encouraged to get scheduled to use it up.

 

WMIRS is mandatory – no WMIRS no fly. 

 

September mission numbers have been posted on the bulletin board.  Ed Ross says there will be no B9 flights.

 

Wing is in receipt of a letter from National HQ to develop ground handing training program.  It is available on e-services web site.

 

September is national preparedness month.

Kevin has a letter from another squadron looking to trade squadron patches.  If you are interested and have an old Polaris patch see Kevin.

Squadron leadership school is scheduled for October 11 and 12

 

Safety – use caution when gassing up at Spernaks.  It is very crowed around the pump and non-aviation passengers are loading and unloading from Spernak aircraft.
