Safety
– It is hot and fire season is upon us. If fighting a fire, attack the base of the fire.
Medical
– quick lesson on sprains and strains. A sprain is a joint hyperextension. A strain is muscular related. IF an injury occurs, apply ice
the first 24 hours. After 24 hrs, alternate heat and ice. Rest an injury
so it can heal.

Safety Spiel was presented by Karen Hursh. Be careful when out in the
sun to prevent sun burn. Wear proper clothing or sun screen.
Kevin offered a final heartfelt thought for all members. Please review
safety procedures. Develop good personal safety habits.
