Just a reminder from Merrill Field, for those who plow
our snow - don't pile it up around the gate.
For new members, the Level 1 course and Cadet
Protection courses are to be completed online. New members will
receive the CD in their membership packets. You must bring your completed
certificate into the squadron to receive credit for completion.
All members must complete the Opsec course, online (https://tests.cap.af.mil/opsec)
If you are interested in helping with this year's Cadet
Encampment, you must get your application package submitted by February 23rd
to Wing Headquarters. Kevin McClure has the details.
There are uniform changes. Kevin McClure will post the
document.
New January Mission number will be posted on the
board.
A list of members who CAP membership is about to expire
will be posted on the board. Please review and check to see if your renewal
is coming up soon.
There must be an annual class for Release Officers.
This class is being worked on. In addition, Mel Shepard is looking for
someone with good organizing skills to help him. If you are that person and
can provide him some assistance, contact him.

Safety - The weather is changing rapidly, so
plan ahead and leave a way out to keep safe.
Safety Spiel - Skip presented the contents
on a prefight briefing. This is a good idea to be more consistent with
your prefight briefing and not forget any items to cover with your
passengers. The items where discussed with attendees. The small
checklist cards should be available in the squadron soon.
