Meeting Notes
May 27, 2008

Next Tuesday Col Whittaker will be conducting an inventory of assets. All CAP owned equipment must be here for the inventory. The inventory will start at 6 PM if you can be here to help.

The Glenn Highway/5th Avenue Widening project will start construction next week. AIC is the contractor, and we have the names of the project managers if anyone has trouble accessing the squadron during the construction.

PAQ Pancake Feed and fly in best operating practices and reporting points are posted on the bulletin board.

MRI Cartee Airspace extension notice is also posted on the board.

The C-172 was moved to Sitka so the squadron there can have a plane to fly. Thanks to Brent Dunn for the long flight.

A C-185 on amphib is at LHD maintenance and can be used. Also a C-172 on floats is in the water, ready to use.

Six cadets and three seniors helped at the Ft Richardson National Cemetary on Memorial Day. Thanks guys.
The Cadets will have a BBQ this next Sunday. They are also scheduled to have a ride on a C-17 on Monday. There is still room for Senior support, but the Cadet organizers need your name and a signed release by Friday.

Derwin Hammond presented the monthly safety meeting. He played an FAA produced DVD titled "Was that for us?"
The program focused on proper use of radios to prevent runway incursions. It included both good and bad radio phraseology.
